Each medical mission that NOVA Hope for Haiti sends to Haiti costs around $22,000.00, not including the airfare which individual volunteers cover themselves. This covers ground expenses: vehicle rentals for the week, room and board, medical supplies, and medicine itself. On a typical trip we will have about 24 volunteers who will treat well over one thousand patients, mostly children, who don’t have any access to medical care other than our outreach in Cavaillon. General Donation
NOVA’s volunteers work all year to plan our next medical mission, purchase supplies and medicine, and recruit volunteers. We are also working hard on building our permanent medical facility in Cavaillon, Haiti. NOVA is completely volunteer run, but we do have expenses. Can you help NOVA keep working toward our goal of providing permanent sustainable medical care and education to people in rural Haiti who have no medical care available to them. This is a part of the country which is woefully under-served.
