Construction: Phase II Plans

We are very excited about our new clinic! If there was a silver lining in all the challenges NOVA has faced with the devastating earthquake in 2021, it is the ability to design and construct a medical clinic that offers more space, improved operational flow, and an opportunity to grow in the future.

Our new building will include:

  • Five exam rooms, each with its own sink;
  • A large lab which will include a full bathroom for patients;
  • A clinician administrative room for staff meetings, consultations with community members, etc.;
  • A large storage room;
  • An unfinished second floor for extra storage with the potential to add additional dental or medical services;
  • A staff bathroom;
  • A janitor/cleaning storage room.

We are continuing to work with Serge Aime (Hudco Construction) who completed Phase I of our rebuilding efforts. Several members of the Executive Committee had the opportunity to meet with Serge in New York City recently. We are extremely confident that he will build our clinic within budget and maintain constant communication with us, as we are presently unable to travel to Haiti.
